All patients registered at the surgery have a named GP.
To find out who your named GP is:
- If you have a repeat prescription, the name of your accountable GP will be printed on the bottom of the right hand page of the prescription
- For patients who have electronic prescriptions, or where a pharmacy orders your medication, the pharmacy staff will be able to give you the name of your named GP from your prescription
- If you do not have a repeat prescription and wish to know who your allocated GP is, please ask at your next appointment
All the GPs at the practice work closely together and having a named GP does not prevent you from seeing any doctor at the practice. In addition, due to holidays and other commitments, your named GP will not always be available. If you request an emergency appointment, then your appointment will be with whoever is duty doctor on that day.
